A fun weekend in Chicago!

Nick and I were thrilled to find cheap tickets from XNA to Chicago in November. I REALLY wanted to go visit Mikki and Sean and we just couldn't find decent airfare. After praying about it two nights in a row I got an email from a friend who knew we were looking. We were able to order tickets for the exact weekend we wanted to go for super cheap. We flew out Sat. Morning and came home Monday night.

Mikki and I had so much fun playing in Wheaton on Saturday while the boys watched football. Sean cooked a delicious mean for us on Saturday night. Sunday we headed into the city and enjoyed the GREAT weather...it was so mild. We enjoyed a boat tour of the city and just strolling along the Magnificant Mile. We also enjoyed some Chicago style pizza.

Monday Nick and I ventured into the city alone and checked our bags at Macy's so we could enjoy walking around the city. After a full day of walking we took the blue line right into the airport. It was great!

We had a wonderful time traveling and seeing friends. Mikki and Sean were wonderful hosts. We can't wait to go back!

Love the Chicago pics! They are awesome...that city is so much fun and I still CRAVE the pizza from there...love you guys and glad that you were able to get nick to take you on a trip, Caroline!!!!
