My Favorite Place!!!

Well it just so happens that I returned from my favorite vaca spot just in time for Kelly's Korner - Show us your life! Destin, FL is my absolute favorite place on the face of this Earth! Now, let me also say I am not a world traveler, but Destin holds a special place in my heart. It always will...my family has gone to the beach every year for the past 15 or so. About 12 years ago we started going to Destin and we LOVE it! So many fun memories with family and friends, a GORGEOUS beach, and great food!

This year it was a little bit different with my husband's mother and sister joining us and my brother couldn't come, but we all had a great time. We always drive through the night and I was a complete rock star this year and drove from 8pm to 4am. Oh yeah! It never even phased me, and normally if I don't get 7 or so hours of sleep it takes days to catch up. God knew it was a much needed vaca and he gave me just the perfect amount of rest. :)
















I am having trouble with my pictures so they are not labeled and they are not in order, but you can still see we had a great time. I can't wait to take my kids there some day, Lord willing.

This week was back to reality with many things at church and work gearing up for Fall. I am going to miss Summer, but it's always nice to transition into the next season.
